30 maps of Canada in 30 days
Every day this November we make one map for the #30DayMapChallenge, on unmap's basemap and Canadian open data, and show the code that drew it. Every map runs live in the page, and you can rebuild any of them with a free key.
Day 1: Points
Every populated place in Canada, one dot each: 29,749 cities, towns, villages, hamlets and named localities from the Canadian Geographical Names Database.
The thirty days
The themes are the challenge's own. A day becomes a link once its map is up.

About the challenge
The #30DayMapChallenge is a community event: one map a day through November, each on a set theme, posted anywhere with the hashtag. There is no sign-up, and any tool or data is allowed.
These are ours. Each page names its data and its licence, shows the code, and says how the map was made, including where an AI assistant helped.
