What we found when we went looking for Canadian transit data

The GTFS pipeline is built: fetch, validate, quarantine, licence gate, archive, capacity measurement. We ran it over eight agencies. One of the eight is both licence-clear and ingestible, which is not what anyone expected, and is the reason this is a report rather than a launch.

• No transit endpoint ships in this change. /coverage.json still publishes transit as planned, and it now lists the feeds with what is wrong with each
• A feed is never unzipped without a recorded licence. BC Ferries publishes no terms we could locate, so it has no registry row, and having no row is what refuses it
• TransLink and STM are held on their terms, not on engineering. Vancouver and Montreal would have no coverage even once transit ships, and the reason is written down
